Our story
Between ability and communication there is often only language.
Many international healthcare professionals arrive with excellent expertise. On the way into their profession in Germany, a lot of questions come up: Which recognition do I need? Which exam awaits me in my federal state? How do I prepare for the Fachsprachprüfung, the professional language exam for my profession? And what does my working day sound like in German?
Professional German is the key: the language of the handover, of the Arztbrief (the medical report), of explaining a procedure to an anxious patient.
KlinikDeutsch grew out of this experience. We combine digital professional German courses for every profession with personal support for anyone who wants to plan their route with us.

The founder
Ana Gómez
Expert in international healthcare careers · Founder of KlinikDeutschWhat I do. For over 15 years I have supported international healthcare professionals at every stage of their route to Germany: guidance at the start, recognition of their qualification, the German of their profession, the exam and their first day at the clinic. I know both sides of that route: the professionals arriving with their qualification and the clinics waiting for them. I know the healthcare sector from the inside: I have worked in it since 2006, first with hospitals and laboratories and, from 2021, in recruiting international professionals. I have taught adults since 2000.
Why I founded KlinikDeutsch. I have seen excellent doctors, therapists and technicians arrive with talent and drive. What takes them into their job is the language of their profession at the level of the exam and of daily work. KlinikDeutsch brings together what works on that route so you can practise whenever your shifts allow: cases from your profession, mock exams and feedback on your conversations and texts.
My professional background. I studied biochemistry, I teach German for healthcare professions and I'm a telc examiner for professional German in Medicine C1 and Nursing B2. I know how an exam conversation is assessed, and that is how every simulator is built.
What I do in the individual programme. I get to know your situation, develop your strategy and study plan with you and support you through to the next step: with guidance, one-to-one lessons and regular check-ins, as we agree in writing.
